All-Time-Highs!

We all knew it was coming.  And happy Halloween as the goblins gapped price to all time highs upon the session open today.

But all price could do the entire session was balance.

Is this healthy consolidation of gains at new highs?

Or there is too much seller activity out there at this minor high zone, and price plunges back into the range?

Or price balances for a number of days to mind-numb all day traders into oblivion?

Probably 3rd option.

Up!

Rip-roaring trend move into 11:00 today.

11:00 fade the trade of the day.

Following by the momentum diverge just above King VWAP.

All times highs just above.

Fed Crap

I hate fed days.

Hideous grind lower before the announcement gave away to more selling and the pussy-whipped shorts covered into the close -- even on horrible fed news that the free money regime is being stopped.

My guess is that everyone laughs at that thought.  How can they stop it now after so many years without everything going to crap?

We will see.

Breakout Up!

A lazy 5 point range session until 11:00 time zone hit and the grind out of highs accelerated into the close.

It's game on for a test of the daily highs as they are just so close now.  What's going to stop it?

Inventory is extremely long now and intra-day action tomorrow could be susceptible to inventory adjustments.  But our bias is for more upside.

But it's fed day tomorrow so you never know.

Grinder Day

Just a typical bull market grinder day where some points were to be had.

Minor Puke

A couple days off, we will fill those days in retro.

As we thought 1950 zone could be trouble.

After hours selling off so far after today's "ebola" puke post 11:00 and R2.

Whatever the news, inventory was just too long into this zone if you ask me.

Hello Mr. Grinder

It was time to say hello to an old friend today. A long-lost friend that has been hiding during this little downdraft.

Welcome home Mr. low volume creeper grinder uptrend day. You are just as special as you ever were.

With volume way down, and volatility too, odds are that the daytrading fun is over for a while, as apparently the indexes want to grind back to highs.

At least that's what it smells like currently.

Intraday: the 2 perfect the VWAP tests were the all clear signals to just let your trades if long, run for a while.

Gap Up Balance

True gap up didn't even attempt a fill.

Buyers could have run it higher much better than just balance.

But the new auction is probably confirmed by today's session and we look for more upside come Monday.

Intraday: The 9:00 to the tick HOD, was ominous for the buyers as was the large divergence in TF small caps.

Rabid Volatility Again!

50ish handle range today as sellers short covered hard for the session on the fake out gap lower.  Two way auction bliss!

Duel excess tails on the daily now!

Buyers going to try their hand at a new auction higher here.

That's what structure says.

Or else, something has changed!

Excess!

Super high volume breakout reading of the year.

And a V-reversal with ATR a crazy 70'ish

A new auction higher in the cards?

Intra-day structure spot on, but not easy with high volatility.

Inside Range Day

Another 9:00 zone reversal to range lows as the trade continues to be the responsive selling from any buying -- in a very trendy fashion.

But, alas, the day was an inside range day and that could be something for buyers to hang onto.

Biggest volume day of the year today.  On an inside range day?

Another Break Lower

Yet another late session breakdown.  And ATR of 30.

200 day taken out and rinsed.

Overnight is bouncing so far.

These late session liquidation events are not super high confidence.

I'm expecting a bounce but am not going to be biased into tomorrow's session.

Crazy intra-day edge again today:
