The world has changed: Now apple announcement days move the market more wild than Fed announcements.
The 11:00 HOD reversal almost seemed like a Fed day.
The daily range was breached in an intraday double distribution breakdown lower.
But it failed to garner any real interest, stalled, and reversed higher into the close.
But the range is broken, and it's the sellers game to lose. Without seller extension, the responsive short covering will thrust price back up into the range.

Short in the Hole
Short in the hole.
One thing that you can count on from this bull market, is that if after a liquidation day whereas price action is steady and firm -- it is a huge signal that the shorts are caught yet once again and just go with the upside momentum.
Yet another perfect checkmark pattern trend day.
With yet another low of the day print before 8 o'clock that is a minor low of the previous session.

Look Above And Fail
Third day in a row of looking above the range and failing back in. Traders are going to keep doing what's working until it doesn't work anymore.
This is some grand range trading folks!
Today they pumped up the volume and volatility in the session, and also featured were multiple tick -1200 readings and -1400 readings. And it's been quite a while since these readings have printed. Back in March to be exact. And back then the readings did not portend to any meaningful downside.
As per usual, sellers didn't totally have their way today as late day reversal pushed price back up into the range.
So now we have excess above and excess below.
And buyers are trained to buy any dip.
The big bad job numbers come out tomorrow morning so we get to see if the buyers throw another party after today's liquidation event or if the sellers are really going to get something going.
Odds go to buyers barring any major negative news coming in.

We were correct in our assessment that the daily triangle would look higher.
And higher it did look above but, just like yesterday, sellers hit the gas at the gap up open. And all the overnight long inventory got summarily squished like a bug.
And we were not astonished whatsoever when the 9 o'clock low produced a sizable reversal rally almost two the VWAP right on cue.
The reversal back to range lows occurred just before 11 o'clock today, so the programs messed with that time reference ever so slightly.
It is:
September
2000 zone excess tail
Will this bring in a red move?
Nod to the buyers for now, but a failure could accelerate intraday.

1st Trading Of The Month Volume In
The first trading day of the month brought in a little volatility to the marketplace.
And yet again some tried-and-true patterns showed their hand for significant edge.
The first hour look above the range highs and fail turned into a decent leg lower.
Lots of nuances to highlight in the slides.
The trade of the day came at 11 o'clock. A picture-perfect transitional structure that launched price back up into the range.

Bull Market Day Before A Holiday
A very classic bull market day.
Perfect 7:30 transitional low (how many times have we seen this, 1 million?)
Perfect 9 o'clock transitional high of day (how many times have we seen this, 1 million?)
Perfect balance action that stops to the tick on the VWAP, and then reverses back to highs (how many times have we seen this, 1 million?)
Simple reference zones showing their usual power.
